Welcome to Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class™, one of the most comprehensive and effective Yoga classes in the world. Bikram's 26 exercises systematically move fresh, oxygenated blood to one hundred percent of your body, to each organ and fiber, restoring all systems to a healthy working order, just as Nature intended. Proper weight, muscle tone, vibrant good health and a sense of well-being soon follow.

Bikram Yoga Phoenix offers a peaceful, serene environment. Our studio is designed specifically for the practice of Bikram Yoga; you will always be welcomed by friendly, caring people dedicated to insuring a positive yoga experience. All of our instructors are Bikram certified teachers as well as continuing students. Each teacher brings his or her own unique style to the studio while upholding the integrity of Bikram Yoga. Bikram Yoga
Bikram Yoga is simply a method of Hatha Yoga. Hatha coexists with seven other limbs of yoga and it is the aspect most concerned with energizing the physical body. The Bikram style is a practice performed in a heated room. There are 26 postures and two breathing exercise. Bikram Yoga is suitable for all ages and levels of ability.

The Benefits of Yoga
The benefits of yoga are infinite. You will improve your overall mental, physical and emotional health. How quickly you progress will depend entirely on you - upon your natural ability to a small extent, but mostly upon the honest time and effort you give to Yoga. It will have little to do with how "perfectly" you can do the practice. Instead it will have to do with how well you understand what you are trying to accomplish, how honestly you try to accomplish your goal and how supple your muscles and joints have become in comparison to the point at which you began. In Yoga there is no standard of comparison except you. Perfect is the best you can do that day.

Bikram teaches you not only the proper instruction for each pose but also the reality. We will tell you what problems you might encounter as you practice, what clues will help you make progress, and where you might be tempted to "cheat," thus depriving yourself of the benefit of doing the practice properly. The postures are explained to you in an understandable and informative way.
